ONE SPECIAL GIFT!

This is probably one of my most special post that is so dear to my heart. My sweet daughter Megan wanted a bible for Christmas. She wanted one to read and to be able to take it to school. At dinner one night she told my mom and aunt that she had a bible but it was a baby bible and that she wanted a bigger one a "HOLY BIBLE"! How cute. When she opened her bible she was so happy. To see a child get excited about the most important book around, well you can just imagine how I felt. My sweet Megan, Daddy and I are so proud of you and love you with all of our heart.

What a Christmas! We had Christmas Eve at my parents house and of course the kids got everything they asked for! We all had a wonderful time. Between dolls, phones, WII, movies, clothes, makeup, toys and a Disney Trip our girls didn't miss one. We are so blessed and are very thankful to all of our family who made our Christmas a special one. Thank you. We love you all!

Deer Food for Rudolph and Santa

This year we had the chance to sprinkle deer food in the front yard so that Rudolph knew to come to our house. Daddy helped her out at the beginning and then she got the hang of it. It was a lot of fun.

Today Julia and I had a mommy and me afternoon. She really wanted to get outside for a little. I told her it was very cold (48 ) plus very windy.... so I would say it felt like 30 something! That did not stop her although, she really did not understand. After suiting up in our winter attire we took her push (which means stroller) and her doll Annie for a walk. I think we made it past two homes at which point she wanted to go back and play in the backyard. Then we decided to take the string of popcorn and string of cranberries that Lanny Neil made outside, to place on some of the bushes to attract some deer and birds (which are probably somewhere in a nest warm, unlike us fools outside). Anyways - after that she wanted to do "Bubbies", which means blow bubbles. She loves those bubbles!!! After about 2 minutes of blowing bubbies - she was ready to go in. Cold Mama she said! So our wonderful outside adventure, I think lasted, oh um......... maybe a total of 10 minutes! Oh well - I still got some real good pics of my baby and enjoyed spending time with her.

Gingerbread House with Grandpa Jack and Lanny Neil

The girls had the chance to do a gingerbread house during Grandpa Jack and Lanny Neil's visit! They had a real good time as you can see from the pictures. I think Grandpa Jack and Marcus enjoyed themselves more since they "Tested" all the candy :) Anyways - Thanks Jack and La, we had a wonderful time.

SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS PARADE!

OUR SWEET MEGAN HAD THE CHANCE TO RIDE THE FLOAT IN OUR WOLD FAMOUS "WATKINSVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE!" YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN A SMALL TOWN WHEN THE WHOLE TOWN IS AT THE PARADE. WHAT A GREAT FEELING TO KNOW YOU GET TO RAISE YOUR KIDS IN THIS KIND OF ENVIRONMENT! THE THEME THIS YEAR WAS "NO HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" SO THE GIRL SCOUTS WERE LITTLE MICE WITH NO PLACE TO GO. IT WAS A BLAST AND JULIA HAD A WONDERFUL TIME ALSO CATCHING ALL THE BEADS AND CANDY.

LETTERS TO SANTA

It's that time of year.......CHRISTMAS! The girls are really excited this year. As you can imagine they have a lot of things on their wish lists. On Saturday, I had them both write out a letter to Santa telling him what they wanted for Christmas and then we would either mail it to him or take it to him at the mall. Well Julia freaked at the idea of going to see him - so we are going to mail it instead! Below I posted their letters Megan's is readable and Julia's is another story. I do know that Julia said she wrote that she wants a pink push ( which means a pink stroller), 2 babies, a baby bed, a baby blanket.......... SEE A PATTERN!!!! Anyways hope you enjoy their sweet letters.
